The Spa Pool Structure
The frame construction is guaranteed by the manufacturer for ten years from the date of Delivery, against failure in: structure due to faulty workmanship or materials, provided that the installation, use and maintenance have been carried out in accordance with normal practice according to our recommendations.
The Spa Pool Acrylic
The shells are guaranteed by the manufacturers for five years from the date of Delivery, against failure in: structure & material due to faulty workmanship or materials, provided that the installation, use and maintenance have been carried out in accordance with normal practice according to our recommendations.
Heaters & Jets
All Heaters (non-heat pump) & Jets have a five year warranty from the date of delivery against faulty components, provided they are used under the terms of the manufacturer’s warranty. (Heating elements are not covered under this warranty against corrosion due to water imbalance). After one year this warranty is limited to the supply of replacement parts and excludes labour and freight costs.
All Equipment
Heat Pumps, Filtration Cartridge Holder, Motors and Pumps, Ozone generator, audio system, lights, control valves, including Balboa control equipment i.e. : Control Box and Touch Pads have a two year warranty from the date of delivery against faulty components, provided they are used under the terms of the manufacturer’s warranty. After one year this warranty is limited to the supply of replacement parts and excludes labour and freight costs.
Cabinet Warranty
PureSpas warrant the spa cabinet against defects in materials and workmanship for a two-year period from date of delivery. This warranty specifically covers the structural integrity of the cabinet. The spa cabinet finish is warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship at the time of initial delivery. Fading and weathering of the surface will occur naturally over time, and are not considered defects. After one year this warranty is limited to the supply of replacement parts and excludes labour and freight costs.
Eletrical Connection
All electrical connections must be carried out by a qualified electrical contractor. Failure to do so will immediately VOID this warranty. PureSpas reserves the right to ask for proof that the spa has been installed by a qualified electrical contractor.
Warranty Exclusions
This warranty does not extend to wear and tear or damage resulting from accident, negligence, misuse or inappropriate chemical maintenance of the Spa.
The warranty is not transferable.
That the pool has been maintained and the water therein chemically treated according to sound and well established methods and abrasive cleaners are not used on the pools surfaces.
The Spa must not be left empty in direct sunlight as this will result in damage to the spa surface and plastic fittings.
The guarantee shall be invalid if the spa pool is damaged by earth or ground-fill movement, Act of God, acts of aggression, by accident, or by intentional, reckless negligent acts of any person. In no event shall PureSpas, its agents or employees, be liable for Injury to any person for any claim of damage, however arising.
Spa cannot be altered or modified from its original state. All servicing and repairs to be carried out only by a service agent authorised by PureSpas Limited.
This warranty does not include all commercial installations, i.e.: hotels, motels, gyms, sports clubs where larger bather density applications are apparent. Please contact us to confirm which model is best suitable for your environment.
If any such defects appear or occur the Purchaser shall inform PureSpas or its representative by notice in writing within seven days of such defect. Any such notice is required to set out the exact nature of the defect and the circumstances in which it was noticed. (Email: tech@purespas.co.nz or call 0800 000 827).
Limitations
This warranty is the only warranty offered by PureSpas and excludes any other implied or oral undertakings. Except as described above, this warranty does not cover defects or damage due to normal wear and tear, improper installation, alteration with PureSpas’ prior written consent, accident, acts of God, misuse, abuse, commercial or industrial use, use of an accessory not approved by PureSpas, failure to follow PureSpas’ Pre-Delivery Instructions or Owner’s Manual, or repairs made or attempted by anyone other than an authorized representative of PureSpas. PureSpas or it’s agents will not be liable for any incidental or consequential loss or injury. PureSpas will not be liable for costs associated with but not limited to building alterations, removal costs, delivery costs, or labour costs associated with the replacement of a spa.
